The central bank hard currency reserves have increased by EUR 139mn in October to reach EUR 9.6bn, or USD 13.9bn. The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released the figures in a statement issued today. Hard currency reserves hit EUR 9.6bn The commercial banks' reserves amounted to EUR 424.9mn, so that the overall figure for last month came to EUR 10.1bn, or USD 14.5bn. The NBS monetary board, after reviewing current trends, decided in its session Monday to keep the key interest rate at the same level of 9.5 percent, the statement said.
