Djokovic tops ATP list for 170 weeks

The world's best tennis player Novak Djokovic of Serbia has begun his 170th week at the top of the ATP list.

This is equal to the number of weeks at the top spent by U.S. tennis player John McEnroe, and is the fifth position on "the eternal list."

The Serbian player will try to score the same success as Jimmy Connors (268 weeks), Ivan Lendl (270 weeks) and Pete Sampras (286 weeks), while the top position belongs to Roger Federer with 302 weeks.

The world's best tennis player currently has 16,785 points, while Andy Murray occupies the second position on the list with 8,250 points and Federer ranks third with 7,930 points.
