BELGRADE Aleksandar Vulin will continue to run the government’s Office for Kosovo at northern Kosovo Serbs’ request, the Office for Kosovo has confirmed. Vulin resigned as Office for Kosovo director a month ago, after an agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina was initialed because he did not agree with the document. Vulin to remain Office for Kosovo director He said at the time that he was resigning for two reasons - because he wanted to show how important it was to take the path he had proposed to his coalition partners – to call a referendum in order to achieve unity among people and because he had promised Kosovo Serbs that the agreement would be different. Daily Vecernje novosti has learned that First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has spoken to Vulin about a possibility of him returning to his position. 8,000 Serbs from the province signed a petition for Vulin’s return.
