BELGRADE, KOSOVSKA MITROVICA Aleksandar Vulin says "all uncertainties regarding the agreement on integrated crossings management must be clarified when Serbia's and Kosovo's PMs" meet. The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo was referring to a deal known as IBM ("integrated border management"), reached during the EU-sponsored Kosovo dialgue. Kosovo office chief expects "uncertainties to be clarified" Vulin told Tanjug the agreement on integrated management was provisional and that "some things" would be cleared up once Ivica Dacic meets with Hashim Thaci. He said he understood the discontent and doubts of the Serbs protesting in northern Kosovo. "There are things we must do and will do as a serious country, but we definitely will not do anything that would force Serbs in northern Kosovo to recognize a state they do not want to recognize and which, when all is said and done, does not exist for the Republic of Serbia," said Vulin. Vulin also stated that " it was time" for talks on solutions included in the government's platform on Serbia's southern province. He said that Serbia incorporated its stands and requests in platform, stressing that now is the time for other participants in the dialogue - the international community and the interim self-government institutions in Kosovo to take stands on the solutions presented in the document. “As soon as the international community accepts that the solutions included in Kosovo platform are reality and possibility for a lasting, fair and sustainable solution, we will be able to leave all disputes, doubts and fears behind us,” Vulin said in Kosovska Mitrovica. Vulin reiterated that no one from Serbia will force citizens in the province to recognize and accept the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo, which they do not want. Serbia is a serious state which will have to carry out even the things that it does not like, but it does not have to introduce anyone else in a foreign legal, economic and tax system, Vulin said. Vulin called on all citizens in Kosovo to understand that the state of Serbia will have to implement even the agreements which it dislikes, but that this does not mean that it has given up on its citizens in Kosovo and Metohija as it will not do that.
