Serbia's Deputy PM and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic thanked Thursday in Athens the Greek government for its support to Serbia's endeavors for EU integration. At a joint press conference with Greek Citizen Protection Minister Christos Papoutsis, Dačić particularly pointed to the long traditional friendship and brotherhood of the Serbian and Greek peoples.

Papoutsis reiterated Greece's support to Serbia's endeavors for EU integration and said that this was one of the topics of his talks with the Serbian minister.

“Serbia is a friend and ally to Greece,” Papoutsis said.
