Biden: KFOR to remain in Kosovo

American Vice President Joseph Biden said at the NATO HQ that there will be no withdrawal of KFOR troops in Kosovo in order to help U.S. forces in Afghanistan. “I do not think that we have to pull out troops or reach any conclusions regarding Afghanistan, based on the progress or lack of progress in Kosovo,” Biden said after a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and the NATO Council on Tuesday.
