Agim Ceku on Tuesday evaluated that the rate of Kosovo's recognition is slowing down, "which raises concerns". “In February, 21 country recognized us, in March 14, in April seven, while only one country did so in May and June. This worries us,” said the former prime minister of Kosovo and leader of the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo. Ceku: Recognition rate dropping Ceku believes that "indifference of institutions and top-ranking officials who say that there will be new recognitions raises even more concern, because just the opposite is happening in practice". In an interview with Pristina daily Express, Ceku said that “we are now witnessing an authoritarian democracy which the ruling party in Kosovo wants to establish”.
