Technical questions remain priority
Frank Wisner said that reaching an agreement on technical questions is the priority of the Kosovo status talks.

“I told my friends in Belgrade as well that they behaved very honourably.” Wisner said, adding that Washington will be cooperating closely with the Kosovo delegation during this period of discussions.He reiterated that the US is still intent on making sure that the status discussions are completed by the end of the year.
Refraining from talking about the possibilities of an imposed solution, Wisner said that it is very important for all the elements of the package for the final status to be implemented during the process of the talks.
“This includes realistic solutions for the questions of municipalities, churches and minorities. Solid and good discussions are taken step by step. We are moving towards the second step.” Wisner said.
