Serbia ranks 77th on Legatum Prosperity Index

Serbia ranks 77th according to the Legatum Prosperity Index, while Norway claimed the first place on the list of 142 countries.

Serbia ranks 77th on Legatum Prosperity Index

Serbia dropped by one place since last year, and it won best scores in education where it ranked 55th, while the worst score was recorded in economy where it claimed the 130th place.

In entrepreneurship, Serbia ranked 77th, in terms of administration it came out 81st and was 51st on the Legatum Prosperity Index list according to the healthcare sector. When it comes to security, the country occupies the 64th place and ranks 74th for individual freedoms, while the social capital parameter won Serbia the 96th place.

Among the top ten countries are Switzerland, New Zealand, Denmark, Canada, Sweden, Australia, Finland, the Netherlands and the U.S. Britain was 13th, followed by Germany and Austria, while France ranks 21st and Italy occupies the 37th place.

When it comes to the countries in the region, Slovenia claimed the 24th place on the list, Hungary came out 39th and Bulgaria 48th, Croatia ranked 50th, Greece took the 59th place and Romania ranked 60th.

Montenegro took the 65th place on the list, Macedonia came out 69th and Albania ranked 84th, while Turkey occupies the 86th place and Bosnia-Herzegovina takes the 91st place. Among European countries, only Armenia has a lower ranking than Bosnia-Herzegovina and takes the 95th place on the list according to the index.
