Serb Progressive Party (SNS) activist Nikola Isailovic says he was attacked on Sunday night in front of the party headquarters in Zemun, Belgrade. Isailovic told a news conference today that three attackers approached him when he left the building and asked him whether he was an SNS member. Nikolic party activist reports assault Once he confirmed this, Isailovic claims, one grabbed him by his jacket, while the other two tried to pull him down, ripping the jacket in the process. However, he said he managed to escape and report the incident to the police. SNS Presidency member Nebojsa Stefanovic said that offensive graffiti and swastikas were also sprayed on the party premises overnight. He called on MUP to investigate, adding that many similar incidents happened in Zemun lately. Stefanovic also pointed out that red graffiti with the party's acronym appeared on several private houses. "We did not write these graffiti and we believe this is an organized campaign of our political opponents who want to discredit us,” he said, adding that the SNS will organize one of its own, to clean the walls of the graffiti. The SNS is an offshoot of the Serb Radical Party (SRS), formed recently by the former Radical number two Tomislav Nikolic.
