Serbia will continue making efforts for the UN Security Council to adopt a draft resolution on an independent investigation into Kosovo human organ trafficking. But there has been no agreement within the council regarding this issue, it was confirmed for Tanjug at the Serbian mission to the UN. No agreement on independent organ trafficking probe "Serbia's delegation to the UN will continue making efforts for the UN SC to adopt the decision which would enable the organizing of an independent investigation, with EULEX's agreement, but also under supervision and control of the UN SC," head of mission Feodor Starcevic has stated. He added that Serbia will try to enable the organizing of an additional investigation. "For now, there is no agreement due to the familiar position of three UN SC permanent members and Germany," Starcevic said, in reference to Britain, France and the United States. Serbia in April submitted a concept paper of its initiative for the establishing of an independent investigation mechanism, which would investigate allegations from the report of Council of Europe special rapporteur Dick Marty, accusing members of the ethnic Albanian KLA of kidnapping Serb civilians and trading in their body parts. Since then, Serbia has been working on preparing a concrete proposal which would be put on the UN SC agenda by one of the member states. Serbia proposes that a team of independent, competent and non-biased investigators be formed under the UN Security Counciul auspices, which would be headed by a special representative of the UN Secretary General.
