The Serbian diplomacy chief explained that the United States and EU play a major role in bids to settle both volatile regions, with different views on the respective crises. "When it comes to the Middle East, they believe that the negotiations must continue until a solution is found, while when it comes to Kosovo, they believe that further talks are pointless," Jeremic stressed, and added that if a negotiated solution is possible in the Middle East, then the same applies to Kosovo. "For this reason I believe we will find support from our [Israeli] interlocutors to continue Kosovo status talks until a compromise solution is found, based in international law," he said.
