Medical Products Agency’s capacity building project

The government said in a statement the project would be realized “through direct cooperation and exchange of experience between the French Agency for Health Products and the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia.”

The project is also planned to include employee training and domestic agencies’ capacity strengthening with the aim of improving healthcare and facilitating access to quality medicines, the statement said.

These activities would  for the drugs to be evaluated and registered in accordance with valid EU standards, Milosavljević was quoted.

He also said that all pharmacology sector standards had to be brought in line with EU standards by 2009.
