Serbian officials meet Chinese FM
Li spoke highly of the development of China-Serbia relations. The two sides agreed to enhance exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between China and Serbia in various fields.Serbian officials briefed the Chinese Foreign Minister on the latest situation in Kosovo and Serbian stances concerning the Kosovo issue.
Li Zhaoxing and his aide Kung Chujen said today that the Kosovo problem must be solved through negotiations, without artificial deadlines and with respect toward Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
China believes that Kosovo’s future status can be determined only by patiently seeking a compromise within the UN framework, adding that any unilateral moves would destabilize the region, the statement reads.
