Vucic "accepts all key World Bank proposals"

Goldstein underscored that Serbia is facing a turning point and a definite decision that will determine the future of the reform process, the Serbian government said in a statement.

This is the decisive period for Serbia which has to initiate urgent restructuring of public enterprises, complete the launched privatization process and liquidate the companies that are draining money from Serbia's budget while being practically inexistent for years now, Goldstein said.

Vucic accepted all WB key proposals and said that Serbia will "bravely pursue its reform path regardless of the political price because the most important task and result of the government has to lie in a safe future for Serbia."

During the meeting, Vucic and Goldstein "concluded that Serbia will be an economic leader in the region if it conducts all envisaged reform measures successfully," the statement, carried by Tanjug, said.
