However, as stated, there is still no danger that the Balkan migrant route may be reactivated.

Minister in Croatia's caretaker government Vlaho Orepic said they receive information on a daily basis from Frontex countries, as well as from third countries, satellite images, the tracking of vessels, "and by other means," Croatian agency Hina has reported.

According to the data collected on the status of migrants in Serbia, as of Sunday 1,415 person had been permanently accommodated, and 2,524 more on a temporary basis.

In Serbia, migrants are mostly located in Horgos and Subotica, as well as in camps in Sid, Adasevci, and Principovac.

Most of these migrants are citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq, which the Hungarian authorities turn back to Serbia. They then try to illegally cross the Croatia-Serbia border, the report said.

The agency also reported that Croatian border police were "ready to respond in case of increased illegal border crossings."
