OSCE Chairperson and Serbian FM Ivica Dacic has welcomed an agreement between Macedonianpolitical leaders on measures to overcome the political crisis.

Dacic welcomes agreement between leaders in Macedonia

"EU Commissioner Hahn and his partners are to be congratulated for their role in facilitating this development,” the OSCE quoted Dacic as saying in a release.

“I encourage all parties to implement the agreement in full and good faith. In addition, the OSCE is ready to offer its expertise,” he said.

Dacic stressed as particularly important the early elections in April of next year, which he said should meet international standards.

The leaders of Macedonia’s four biggest political parties had a working meeting, facilitated by Commissioner Hahn, in Skopje early on Wednesday, during which they reached the agreement on measures to overcome Macedonia’s political crisis.
