According to the response, Montenegro sent requests for establishing diplomatic relations to all of these countries in the months immediately after the referendum on independence and again last year. The response also specifies that Montenegro's diplomatic missions have initiated the recognition procedure in Jordan, Kuwait, Liberia and some other African states, writes the Podgorica daily Vijesti.

A list of countries which did not recognize Montenegro's independence by March 18 this year is part of the Montenegrin government's response to additional questions in the European Commission Questionnaire.
