The Macedonian Electoral Commission has decided to repeat voting on June 15 at 186 polling stations where irregularities were reported two weeks ago. The areas with the most re-votes are Lipkovo municipality in the Kumanovo district, Saraj municipality and around 70 percent of polling stations in Tetovo. According to the Commission’s latest official results, the “Coalition for Macedonia” VMRO DPMNE won 64 seats, the “Sun” Social-Democratic Union won 28, the Democratic party of Albanians in Macedonia and the Democratic Union for Integration won 13 each, and the Party of Albanians’ Democratic Prosperity and the Party for a European Future won a single seat each. Parties who have any objections to the Electoral Commission’s ruling have 48 hours in which to lodge an appeal with the Supreme Court.
