Pristina official explains what would make war "inevitable"

"Not because we want this, or that we want to threaten someone, but the moment that borders would be redrawn, this would lead us to a dead-end road," he added, Tanjug is reporting, citing UNMIK's Media Observer.

"We want mutual recognition. This means establishing bilateral relations just like with other neighboring countries. Partition is not on the table of talks. This is a red line that the government will not cross. No institution should fall prey to Serbian propaganda and talk about the issue," Arifi said.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said the same thing just a few days ago, Tanjug is reporting. Haradinaj was "opposing the idea of Lufti Haziri about exchanging territory" when he said:

"Partition (of Kosovo) to me means war, I say it with no hesitation and it's risky to talk about partition."
