CoE rapporteurs meet with Serbian MPs

Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly rapporteurs Davit Harutiunyan and Sinikka Hurskainen held separate meetings with the Serbian ruling and opposition MPs. MPs from the ruling parties introduced the rapporteurs to the reform process in Serbia which aims to meet the obligations and responsibilities Serbia took on by joining the Council of Europe. CoE rapporteurs meet with Serbian MPs For a European Serbia whip Nada Kolundzija and Socialist Party of Serbia-United Serbia whip Branko Ruzic, as well as minority whip Elvira Kovacs and G17 Plus whip Zeljko Ivanji, were at the first meeting with the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly rapporteurs. It was judged that Serbia has made progress with reforms important to European integration, but that reforms already started, especially judicial and election system reforms, needed to continue, reads a statement issued by the Serbian parliament.

CoE rapporteurs meet with Serbian MPs

For a European Serbia whip Nada Kolundžija and Socialist Party of Serbia-United Serbia whip Branko Ružić, as well as minority whip Elvira Kovacs and G17 Plus whip Željko Ivanji, were at the first meeting with the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly rapporteurs.
