The Democratic Party (DS) expects Oliver Dulic to call elections before Friday’s EU summit. According to B92’s sources, the DS insists that the Parliamentary Speaker Oliver Dulic call elections before the EU Foreign Ministers summit scheduled for Friday in Brussels. DS expects elections to be called by Friday At this meeting, Brussels is expected to send a message of support to Serbia and a plea to the Kosovo Albanians to delay a proclamation of independence. B92’s sources within parliament, however, believe that elections may not be called until December 20, since the EU will not make its official position on Kosovo independence clear until after the UN Security Council meets to discuss the situation on December 19.
