Bishop requests Montenegro entrance
In an open letter to the minister, Filaret said that he will be visiting a church belonging to his eparchy that is found on Montenegrin territory on August 28.According to RTS, Filaret asked that the decision to let him cross the border be publicly announced if it is made, adding that he will begin a hunger strike if he is denied entry.
The Montenegrin authorities have already stopped Filaret from entering the country on two occasions, on August 2 and 8, stating that he is tied to ongoing criminal investigations and trials at the Hague Tribunal, and therefore cannot be allowed into the country.
