B92 has learned that police have arrested ex-Kolubara coal mine Director and Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) member Dragan Tomic. B92’s investigative program Insajder was the first to reveal abuse in the company. Police arrest former Kolubara director Daily Blic has learned that Tomic was arrested at the Serbian-Macedonian border when he tried to escape to Greece. The daily also claims that police have launched an operation aimed at arresting another 16 current and former Kolubara managers and company owners accused of taking part in the abuse worth EUR 12mn.
