A man and a woman have been found dead in their family home in the village of Grabovnica, near Leskovac, in southern Serbia. The victims, identified as Slavko S., and Ljiljana S., 39, were found by police. Murder-suicide in southern town The investigation thus far shows that the man first shot and killed his wife who was asleep, and then committed suicide. The victims' daughter was quoted as saying by the media today that her father had been violent for years, and that this started with his pariticpation in the war in Croatia, and later in Kosovo. Earlier in the day, Leskovac MUP spokesman Boban Zdravkovic said that at around 01:20 CET, police received a telephone tip that gunshots were heard from the house, and that a patrol sent out to the scene found the bodies of the husband and wife.
