Traffic policeman Aleksandar Dimitrijevic was injured in a hit-and-run incident in Belgrade at 11:00 CET, B92 understands. Dimitrijevic, who was directing traffic on Vojslava Ilic Street, was struck by a Golf II, whose driver proceeded to flee the scene in the direction of Zvezdara. Policeman injured in hit-and-run incident The officer sustained injuries to both legs and chest, suggesting that he had hit the car's windscreen. He was transferred to the Casualty department suffering from minor injuries. The Golf was later found abandoned. The police also know the origin and registration number of the assailant, who, it is believed, was carrying a passenger at the time of the accident.
