According to him, the Belgrade Plaza Hotel will span 100,000 sq meters, with a conference center, a deluxe spa, a glass-walled restaurant with a view of the Serbian capital, along with a business tower, a shopping center and a parking lot for 2,000 cars. The Israelis will also build Belgrade's largest shopping mall to date in the Visnjica suburb, set to have five floors with 68,000 sq meters, worth a total of EUR 105mn. The Plaza Centers intend to take their investments out of Belgrade, with planned shopping centers in Nis, Subotica, Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Leskovac. "Our goal is to invest in other cities in Serbia, not just Belgrade, to employ as many people as possible, to give domestic companies a chance to participate in our projects," Meger said. Plaza Centers will, according to him, invest more than EUR 500mn in Serbia. The company is a part of Israel's Elbit Imaging.
