Croatian police in record seizure of cash

The Croatian border police arrested a man on a border crossing with Serbia and seized nearly five million euros in cash.

The suspect is a Serbian citizen and was driving a Slovenian license plates truck.

The Croatian police confirmed they the confiscation of EUR 4.75 million.

The Croatian media reported that a small number of bills were counterfeit, and that this was "the biggest ever confiscation of cash at Croatian borders."


Foreign owners of newspaper accuse Montenegrin PM
