Novak: I learned a lesson from New York
Serbian tennis player surprised his opponent by playing often service volley, and in the end he celebrated after 135 minutes of play with 4: 6, 6: 3, 6: 3.After the match, Novak said that he managed to learn lessons from the defeat by Medvedev in the final of the US Open.
"It's very special. I'm very grateful and blessed to have this opportunity. It's one of the biggest reasons why I keep on playing,” Djokovic told Tennis Channel. “I always dreamed of having my children in the stands, with them being old enough [to understand]. This is what life is all about, sharing these moments with the dear ones. My children are my greatest success, my greatest treasure".

After haven't been able to defend last year's title, Daniil Medvedev said: “When I played Novak, I knew that he would try to take his revenge. What was at stake was not the same. Of course, I'm not talking about the prize money here. I could feel he really wanted to win no matter what, and this is what competition is all about.”
