Serbian currency loses against euro for third day

The Serbian dinar (RSD) continued to weaken the third day in a row on Thursday, losing another 0.4 percent of its value against the euro (EUR).

The middle exchange rate today is RSD 120.9203 for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia has stated.

The Serbian currency was at its lowest this year on January 29, with exchange rate of RSD 123.5774, and at its highest on March 20 (RSD 119.9507.)

Since the beginning of the year, the NBS has sold EUR 90 million and bought EUR 260 million on the interbank foreign exchange market to prevent excessive daily fluctuations of the exchange rate.
