BELGRADE -- Miroslav Mišković will be released from custody if he deposits EUR 12 million in bail money, the Higher Court in Belgrade has decided.

The court specified that the equivalent of the said sum must be deposited in Serbian dinars, and in cash.

"After submitting proof to the court that the sum had been deposited, the accused Miroslav Mišković will be released," a statement issued on Friday said.

Mišković will also be prohibited from leaving his place of residence, and will have to report to the police once a month. His passport will be temporarily confiscated, the court said.
