One of the organizers actor Branislav Trifunovic said that the minister should step down for not doing his job, and belittling the people.
"Instead of trying to figure how many protesters there were in Belgrade from looking at a photograph, he should better count the number of murders and start doing his job," Trifunovic said, who is requesting the minister's dismissal.
The organizers repeated the demands that they voiced in the past three weeks five minutes for the protests on the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation (RTS) channel, equal coverage by the public service of all political options, the identifcation of the killers and masterminds behind the murder of the SDP Initiative leader, Oliver Ivanovic, as well as those behind a murder attempt on Serbian Left leader Borko Stefanovic and journalist Milan Jovanovic.
"Until they meet our demands, we will keep rallying every Saturday in increasing numbers, one of the organizers, Jelena Anasonovic, said at the end of the march.
At the start of the demonstrations at the School of Philosophy, where speeches are given, Trifunovic said the protests were being held by citizens provoked by Vucic and his behavior and actions.
Journalist Srdjan Skoro said that Serbia had witnessed "all kinds of governments, but liers and thieves like these have never been seen before."
Skoro said that Vucic dared not take part in a TV duel with his political opponents and only spoke to different "Barbaras" on TV.
The Rakita local community's leader, Desimir Stojanov, urged Vucic to abolish a law allowing for the construction of mini power plants, which he said threatened ecosystems.
After the speeches, thousands of citizens took part in a protest march through Vasina, Makedonska, Svetogorska, Takovska and Kralja Milana streets to Slavija Square. The streets were closed for traffic until the march ended.
A huge banner reading "1 in 5 million" was across the first line of protesters, followed by a group of drummers and a truck with loudspeakers.
Public and opposition figures, including Borko Stefanovic, Boris Tadic, Bosko Obradovic, Dusan Petrovic, Nebojsa Zelenovic and many others joined the marchers.
@sj,
First of all, I see that is a common thing amongst serbs to insult people that don't agree with you all views and that somehow makes you all feel better about yourselves. But do me a favor and keep that way of talking to yourself.
Secondly, you claiming to know all about a topic as complicated as a middle east issues it is quite funny. USA has spent many years contributing to Balkan countries peace and you saying that they want a conflict or war is ludacris.

Who started the war in Afghanistan? The US despite having no evidence that Bin Laden did 9/11. Iraq? The US despite all evidence showing Hussein had no WMD. Libya? The US as revenge against Gaddafi. Syria? The US again. Now Ukraine, well it cost the US $60 million to remove the then President. Who is stirring up trouble in the South China Sea? Yes, you guessed it the US or do you think it was the Serbs who started all of these wars?
Oliver was killed by the US to start a war. He held no office or power after spending 4 years locked up by your democratic forces in Pristina because they had nothing on him. Why haven’t your Albos released the evidence or anything about their investigations? Because they have NOTHING on the claim Serbs did it and plenty on outside invovlement.
Unlike you I have a brain and I have seen many things the US has done. Albos like you praise the US but they treat your lot like a piece of dung on the road and still you kiss their arse. Ask the US why they don’t invest in Kosova? The US Amphenol Automotive Technology is building a 7,000 square meter factory which will employ 1,000 Serbs and not one Albo LOL.

@SJ,
Sure, sure Sj, all the wars that Serbia started in Balkans were USA's fault. Like they have nothing better to do than mess with the little old serbia. Oliver was killed by your dear president's people so don't blame US as that makes you look very naive. The longer that you are not able to reflect on your country's failures the longer you will stay in the dark. Oh I forgot, you are a Serbian and you prefer life of lies and darkness over the truth. Decades of brain-washing has got you all here, hard to undo the damage and the way you all think now.

Forgot to add that demonstrations for David Dragicevic also took place in Mostar, Tuzla and Sarajevo. As if the Bosniaks/Croats care about one Serb. As I said all organised by the US of Piss and Wind.
(sj, 31 December 2018 11:36)
You have to wonder are all these events going around Serbia coincidences or orchestrated?
Demonstrations in Belgrade over “democracy” LOL.
Then we Rastus Haradjin and his goings on. These tariffs can stay for ever and it will not hurt Serbia.
We also had demonstrations in Banja Luka and Belgrade over the David Dragicevic matter. From what I have managed to read about this David, he was not an innocent person but had a criminal record as well as associated with criminals.
Then the Montenegrins talk about expelling Serbian priests and monks.
Now Rastus declaring open borders between Albanian and Kosovo. Plus the western created BS that Serbs killed Oliver Ivanovic has resurfaced - it would be funny if not so serious.
All of these Coincidences? Not on your life. All poorly organised by the US of Piss and Wind.
