BELGRADE Serbian PM Ivica Dacic has denied the claims made by Hashim Thaci that they had agreed to "dismantle Serbian institutions in northern Kosovo". Speaking for B92 on Friday, after the latest round of the EU-sponsored Kosovo dialogue, Dacic said that "everyone can make interpretations in their own way", and added: PM: Dismantling of Serb institutions in north has not begun "It's not true that we have begun the dismantling, we have begun the talks about what, according to us, this particularity should look like, that specialty of position of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija in a situation when we are not talking about a final status." Dacic also stated that "now we are arriving at the solutions given in the Serbian platform". "We do not recognize Kosovo but are interested in how the Serb people are organized, that is, how the association of Serb municipalities will functions, what will be (its) powers and institutions." Asked whether "Serb institutions would then remain in Kosovo", Dacic said: "These institutions of the Serb people that should be built, they would be (there) instead of the institutions that even now some consider to be the institutions of Serbia. Those are even now the institutions of the Serb people, but they would be the institutions that would also be recognized by Pristina." (Tanjug, file) B92
