Serge Brammertz has sent the UN Security Council his regular six-month report on the cooperation of Serbia and other countries of the region with the Tribunal. This was confirmed by the Hague chief prosecutor’s spokeswoman Olga Kavran on Friday. Brammertz report submitted to UN “Prosecutor Brammertz is due to forward the report to the Security Council early next week, and that report is now undergoing standard procedure before being officially issued as a UN document,” she said. She said that she could not talk about the contents of the report before Brammertz officially presented it to the Security Council in New York on December 12. Brammertz is due to inform the EU Council of Ministers about his assessment of Belgrade's cooperation with the Tribunal on December 10 and 11, and a decision on the implementation of the interim agreement and the beginning of ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement with Serbia hinge on this. The prosecutor drafted the report on Serbia on the basis of his recent visit to Belgrade, where he spoke to senior Serbian officials and members of the Action Team for completing cooperation with the Hague Tribunal.
