The Council also approved six “request from the defense of the indicted, which calls for the sending of documentations, and the freeing of 23 witnesses of their obligations to keep secrets.”

The statement did not state what cases were in question, nor the names of those who were freed from keeping state secrets.

“The Council has so far replied to most of the Tribunal’s demands which are related to the freeing of witnesses from keeping secrets, and for delivering documentation asked for by the prosecutors,” according to the statement.
