Rescuers in Slovenia today found three more bodies of the victims of a kayaking accident earlier this week. The bodies were recovered near the still-under-construction hydro power plant of Blanca on the Sava River. 3 more bodies in Slovenia river accident This brings the death toll to 12, with one person still listed as missing. The identities of the victims found today by a police helicopter and divers have not been revealed. Slovenian police does not expect to find any survivors, reports said, and added they requested DNA samples from the relatives in order to identify the bodies. The victims include Sevnica Mayor and MP Kristijan Janc, as well as a number of other local officials and company bosses responsible for the building of the plant's dam. The accident happened when the kayaks were “sucked in“ by the hydro-electric siphon that is still being built, reports said earlier.
