Vucic met on Monday in Belgrade with Ismail Kahraman, president of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, who "conveyed the greetings of President Erdogan, as well as his invitation to visit Turkey, which was welcomed," the president's press service announced.

Vucic "expressed his great satisfaction" with the arrival of Kahraman to Serbia immediately after Erdogan's visit - something that he said "confirmed that relations between the two countries are on a steady rise."

Vucic also "once again stressed that Serbia, as a reliable partner, will always be on the side of legally and legitimately elected Turkish authorities and will never cooperate with those who would jeopardize its constitutional and democratic order," a statement said.
