If EU wants the success of its Serbia policy, it needs to decide to implement the Interim Agreement, the Slovenian FM says. Dimitrij Rupel told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik that Slovenia’s experience during its EU presidency has proven that "the policy of trust and that of understanding is the one that works best". Slovenia to support interim EU deal "Slovenia thinks that the EU and Serbia should together take a next step, and that is the beginning of the implementation of the Interim Agreement,” he specified. "Then, we should continue as fast as possible Serbia’s further EU integration process. That’s strategically important for the EU and it would represent significant and important support to the pro-EU forces in Serbia,” Rupel said.
