BELGRADE Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) deputy leader Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic said Wednesday that the SPS had not discussed possible dismissals of ministers. She added that talks about the issue were yet to come. Socialists "yet to discuss cabinet reshuffle" “We have not discussed dismissal of ministers and it somehow seems to me that we have been appointed to our offices only too recently and have still not met the expectations of our (SPS) membership through our work in the government," said Djukic-Dejanovic, who is also the health minister in the Serbian government. When asked whether the Socialists had discussed a dismissal of Transport Minister Milutin Mrkonjic, as some Belgrade media have been speculating, Djukic-Dejanovic said these were only “interpretations” and reiterated that nobody's dismissal was debated at any of the meetings of the SPS leadership. “At the (party) leadership meetings we only talked about whether the ministers did their job correctly, but the reshuffle was not discussed at all. These activities are yet to come,” she concluded. Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic (Tanjug, file) Tanjug
