Govt. forms group for implementation of crossings agreement Government’s Secretary General Veljko Odalovic told the daily that the group, which should soon meet with representatives of Pristina and Brussels, would consist of experts from the Interior Ministry, Defense Ministry, Agriculture Ministry and Customs Administration. According to him, they will try to agree with Kosovo Albanians and the EU on how the agreement will be implemented in the field with respect of Serbia’s legislation. Vecernje novosti states that the working group was formed on Thursday and that the Serbian government has therefore made one more step toward fulfillment of EU conditions for a date for the beginning of the accession negotiations. This means that the European Commission (EC) has postponed its decision to grant Serbia a date for the start of the EU talks until “there is a visible and sustainable improvement of relations with Kosovo that will allow both Serbia and Kosovo to make progress toward the EU and avoid mutual blockade”.
