Republic of Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Aleksandar Dzombic has stated that “there would have been no Serbs” if there had not been for the RS. He has called on everybody who loves the RS “to gather around a common goal” and that is a politically stable and economically strong RS, Sarajevo-based daily Dnevni Avaz writes. “There would have been no Serbs without RS” “We feel and see the RS as a ‘state’, a framework in which we can protect our national interests while respecting interests of the other two constitutive peoples and others who live in the RS and Bosnia-Herzegovina,” the RS PM told Srna news agency. Dzombic stressed that the “RS is everything” and assessed that “there probably would not have been any Serbs in these parts if there had not been for the RS”. He also warned that those who “minimized RS’ jurisdiction” acted against the Constitution and the Dayton Accords, and that they also acted anti-democratically against all citizens, not only in the RS but in the entire Bosnia-Herzegovina. “RS’ constitutional jurisdiction in Bosnia-Herzegovina is completely clear and nobody should have any dilemma here. Only by respecting this constitutional jurisdiction we can develop the entire society, both the RS and Bosnia-Herzegovina. We will request everything that is guaranteed by the Constitution and Dayton and we will act within that framework,” Dzombic concluded. Aleksandar Dzombic Dnevni avaz
