The RS Minister's statement is absolutely correct. Without an autonomous Serb entity in Bosnia, all the Serbs of Bosnia would have suffered exactly what happened to the Serbs of Croatia. They would have been entirely ethnically cleansed.

The Serb Republic today guarantees and protects the rights of Serbs of Bosnia and allows them to enjoy their religious and cultural rights to exist as a people and not be ruled by anyone other group. Yes, without RS, there would be no meaningful Serbian community in Bosnia today.

Just to set the time frame- Vukovar was attacked in 1991- and its devastation and aftermath was a clear signal of intent by the then JNA aka Serbian National Army and its political masters.

Why is it that 'Bosnian' is sufficient to describe a Muslim person from/living in Bosnia - yet it isn't sufficient to describe an Orthodox or Catholic person that is also from/living in Bosnia?
