Bosniak MP Esad Dzudzevic, who has suspended himself, says he will not revoke the decision until those who cut tires on his official car are brought to justice. He added that he will not return to office until the government publicly accepted that Bosniaks in Serbia needed to claim their minority rights. Bosniak MP says he hasn’t joined opposition “By no means does this mean that I have joined the opposition,” Dzudzevic told Tanjug, admitting that the entire case was rather complex, since the Serbian parliament did not recognize a suspended status. He reiterated that, as the ruling coalition MP, he would not back the government's proposals, or take part in the work of the parliamentary committees until further notice. Dzudzevic said that the reason for this was the attack on his official car while the main reason was the fact that the state authorities kept disregarding that Bosniaks in Serbia were denied their minority rights. Dzudzevic, who is also chairman of the Bosniak National Council, thinks that this is a completely legal and legitimate form of protest. In the night between Tuesday and Wednesday unknown persons cut all four tires on his car despite the fact that it was clearly flagged as an official vehicle.
