EU-Western Balkans meeting to be held Monday

Western Balkan countries’ foreign ministers will meet with their counterparts from the EU member states in Luxembourg on Monday.

Western Balkan countries’ foreign ministers will meet with their counterparts from the EU member states in Luxembourg on Monday. They will discuss cooperation as a part of the stabilization and association process. EU-Western Balkans meeting to be held Monday Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will attend the meeting regardless of the fact that Kosovo representatives will also be there. Official state symbols will not be displayed at the meeting, just like last year in Sarajevo, which will allow Pristina representatives to attend. This is a regular ministerial meeting as a part of the EU-Western Balkans Forum. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule will also attend the meeting. EU member states’ foreign ministers will at the same time hold a meeting where Ashton and Fule will inform the EU ministers about the results of their recent visits to Belgrade, Pristina, Sarajevo and Banja Luka.

EU-Western Balkans meeting to be held Monday

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić will attend the meeting regardless of the fact that Kosovo representatives will also be there.

Official state symbols will not be displayed at the meeting, just like last year in Sarajevo, which will allow Priština representatives to attend.

This is a regular ministerial meeting as a part of the EU-Western Balkans Forum.
