Government increases excise duty on fuel

The Serbian government met in Belgrade this Thursday and decided to increase excise duty on oil derivatives and cigarettes by 1.58 pct.

The Serbian government met in Belgrade this Thursday and decided to increase excise duty on oil derivatives and cigarettes by 1.58 pct. At the same time, the duty on alcoholic beverages went up 10.37 pct. Government increases excise duty on fuel This regular annual harmonization will see excise duty on all types of gasoline increased by 0.70 dinars to 44.7 per liter, while the figure regarding diesel will now be 0.47 dinars up, at 30.47 per liter. Excise on autogas, known in Serbia as TNG, went from 15 to 15,24 dinars per kilogram. Meantime, instead of 17, each packet of cigarettes will now have duty of 17.25 dinars attached to it. The new, increased excise duty on these products will be implemented once the decision has been published in the Official Gazette, a statement from the government said today. Government increases excise duty on fuel

This regular annual harmonization will see excise duty on all types of gasoline increased by 0.70 dinars to 44.7 per liter, while the figure regarding diesel will now be 0.47 dinars up, at 30.47 per liter.

Excise on autogas, known in Serbia as TNG, went from 15 to 15,24 dinars per kilogram.

Meantime, instead of 17, each packet of cigarettes will now have duty of 17.25 dinars attached to it.

The new, increased excise duty on these products will be implemented once the decision has been published in the Official Gazette, a statement from the government said today.
