The Serbian police (MUP) announced that its officers have arrested five minors on suspicion that they planned to attack New Belgrade Roma.

The Serbian police (MUP) announced that its officers have arrested five minors on suspicion that they planned to attack New Belgrade Roma. The teenagers, born between 1991 and 1994, were identified only with their initials. Police said that metal bars and flares were found in their possession as they were detained. 5 arrested for planning attacks on Roma After consulting with the District Juvenile Prosecution, MUP decided to release the suspects, but also to file misdemeanor charges against them. The charges will be based on alleged violation of two laws pertaining to weapons, ammunition and explosive devices.
