Silajdžić accuses Dodik of breaching constitution

Chairman of the tripartite Bosnian Council of Ministers Haris Silajdzic has accused the RS PM Milorad Dodik of “breaching the Bosnian constitution." Silajdzic said that during Dodik’s recent meeting with Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa, the Republic of Srpska (RS) prime minister had discussed Bosnia-Hercegovina’s foreign and foreign trade policies. Silajdzic accuses Dodik of breaching constitution Silajdzic said that those issues were under the jurisdiction of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and not one of its entities. "By talking to Jansa about issues such as EU integration, foreign trade, opening a Slovenian General Consulate in Banja Luka, Dodik breached the constitution of Bosnia-Herzegovina,” Silajdzic said in his statement. He added that these talks represented only one in a series of ever more frequent intrusions by the RS on to the international arena. Silajdzic called on everyone, including international officials “to put a stop to activities that lead to the affirmation of Bosnian entities as international subjects”.
