Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Friday accused the West of seeking a "regime change" in Iran. “Under the guise of trying to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction they are attempting something else entirely and setting different goals – a regime change," news agencies quoted Putin as saying. Putin: Russia wants balance of strategic forces He said that Russia would not adjust its positions to anyone else’s in solving of the most pressing international issues, such as Syria and Iran. “Of course there are many regional conflicts and their number is growing. But balance of strategic forces will help us avoid major conflicts,” the Russian PM said and announced that his country would establish a new nuclear defense strategy that would keep the U.S. from establishing a global monopoly on power. “This is not only our national objective, but also an obligation before all humanity -- to keep a balance of strategic forces and their capabilities," Putin stressed. He repeated that the West was attempting to change the regime in Iran under the guise of trying to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction and added: “We have such suspicions. And we are trying to take a stand that differs from the one they are trying to force on us... concerning the ways that the Iranian nuclear problem might develop." “I think that our position at the UN Security Council on Syria shows that we do not intend to be anyone's yes-men. And I hope that this is how things will continue," said Putin. The PM added that Russia would not renounce its nuclear weapons until it developed highly precise weapons whose results could be compared to the nuclear weapon, pointing out that his country would not give up on anything that was necessary to ensure its safety. Snažno nevreme stiže u Srbiju

U većem delu Srbije će danas pre podne biti pretežno sunčano, toplo, suvo i vetrovito, uz olujnu košavu u Beogradu, na jugu Banata, u Pomoravlju i donjem Podunavlju, a već u poslepodnevnim satima biće kratkotrajne kiše ili pljuskova.
