Russia "will not accept the attempts to whip up tensions in the Middle East and North African countries". This is according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who on Wednesday had a phone conversation with Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Amr Moussa. The Russian side expressed its concern over the fact that confrontation in these countries is beyond the legal framework and leads to violence and victims, RIA Novosti reported. Lavrov said he is convinced that internal problems can and should be solved by peaceful means through dialogue and the responsible attitude of all political forces.
