Joe,

What you wrote is pure insanity. No one need your personal ID if you have passport. But you are a fake with 99% chance - just please do not spread lies about the country.

I would like really to see anyone's response from any Hungarian consulate about this. It's just a blatant lie, straight in our face.

Joe

Here is it again without the link. The truth has to be told:

Who needs a worthless passport of third degree citizen absolutely useless without a personal ID ?
(Joe, 26 February 2011 02:25)

"Do not want to speak about the rest of your writing - but what you wrote here is 100% stupidity and 0% truth."
ataman

Well you try hard gospodin foreigner your usual distortions but I will rebuff them again with facts.

1) There is no "third degree citizen".
ataman

Wrong. In the nineties when most of us obtained the Hungarian passport we noticed shortly after that not having any other Hungarian official paper like personal ID, Hungarian senior ID, etc we are traited in Hungary as third degree citizens ....not one degree better than any foreigner (actually citizens of EU countries are treated much, much better).

Few examples:
- Seniors travel free or almost free in Hungary. An American senior with a Hungarian passport has to pay because he does not have the Hungarian senor ID.
Senors of EU countries enjoy the same privilages than Hungarian citizens except those American Hungarians who in practice are traited differently as third degree. The same goes for seniors visiting museums. There too the discrimination of being only a third class citizen kicks in. I would have many other examples. Anyway when I raised the subject of being treated like citizen of third category the aswer was "American Hungarians can afford to pay the full price". Thank God we can afford it but it is about the principle of eguality amoung citizens. If it does not exist you create a category of third class citizens. By the way in the US even foreigners with foreign passports can enjoy the 50% seior fares.

"What you said makes the Hungarian citizenship look pretty bad, in particular for ones in Ukraine or Vojvodina. "
ataman

Actually I hope they will get more "citizenship" than the American Hungarians got with that fake, useless Hungarian passport I just described above. I hope they will be treated better than Hungarian Americans.

"2) Personal ID is not needed. According the law you do not need ID if you have a passport. "
ataman

False again. See my examples above.

"discovery procedure (as it is called) is relatively simple, minimal papers are needed, forms are informal and is cheap. Wonder how come one can't go through it."
Ataman

Minimal papers? Wow! Lately for renawal the birth and marriage certificates of dead parents are also have to be provided. Try to get them if they were born before Trianon outside of the current borders. And getting them for what? To obtain the staus of a citizen of third class described above?
No American Hungarian needs that humiliation a second time.

We can put as much lipstick on a true nazi as we want, it still will be a nazi... with lipstick. You can try of course your "best", but as I said, we got into that entire thing by accident. Unfortunately for you - it's an Irish nobleman family name, Joe. And there were Irish settlers in Transylvania... the rest is a very interesting story but not your business.

The only good news for you is in Matthew 5:3

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Apropos, "poor in spirit". Looking at your Hungarian spelling no wonder that even the new government did not restore your citizenship. I certainly would not. ;-)

Roger,

It's about maybe 10%, but very nasty 10%. If the original poster is the same as Joe Henel than J.H. just made up a character like that. I rather believe this is the case because if that "Joe" is for real - his dumbness and bigotry displayed here just do not bode well with someone who claims to be a successful person in Germany and France before moving to the States.

Even following a well-described standard procedure before filling out a simple passport application, both in his once-native language is a problem.

With such mental "capacity" and looking at his comments one has to wonder about this character being fictive or not. Plus quite a few things contradict each other in the CV.

Let Turkey take care of their neighbour's problems. Turkey should worry about their jihad brothers and stay out of Christan Europe.

Even following a well-described standard procedure before filling out a simple passport application, both in his once-native language is a problem. "

Actually I enjoy all these distortions because they show me your terrible personal insecurity and inferiority complex. Already Hruz noted once that disperaging Hungarians is your speciality. Everybody sees it by now.

I never ever requested a form for a renewal much less trying to fill it out. Who needs a worthless passport of third degree citizen absolutely useless without a personal ID ?

"The Putin regime must be very worried that their citizens will not be intimidated by their security apparatus much longer. "

You have a point. Most likely worried but I don't think "very worried" because the Russian security apparatus is very powerful and I can hardly see any Libyan type revolte in Russia for the next 8-10 years.

"This winds of freedom are blowing, Gadaffi is not the only one to be worried...."

And the Putin regime was always a great supporter of Gaddafi. No wonder that they put out this kind of statement to help their embattled friend.

Thank God all Hungarian immigrants who come to America are not like you.

Here is it again without the link. The truth has to be told:

Who needs a worthless passport of third degree citizen absolutely useless without a personal ID ?

"Do not want to speak about the rest of your writing - but what you wrote here is 100% stupidity and 0% truth."

I agree. Many were Jewish who committed crimes before 1956 and fled fearing popular anger.
(Joe, 25 February 2011 20:47)

We can put as much lipstick on a true nazi as we want, it still will be a nazi... with lipstick. You can try of course your "best", but as I said, we got into that entire thing by accident. Unfortunately for you - it's an Irish nobleman family name, Joe. And there were Irish settlers in Transylvania... the rest is a very interesting story but not your business.

The only good news for you is in Matthew 5:3

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
("boldogok a lelki szegények mert övék a mennyek országa")

Apropos, "poor in spirit". Looking at your Hungarian spelling no wonder that even the new government did not restore your citizenship. I certainly would not. ;-)

Do not want to speak about the rest of your writing - but what you wrote here is 100% stupidity and 0% truth. It's also probably 100% sour grapes.

1) There is no "third degree citizen". What you said makes the Hungarian citizenship look pretty bad, in particular for ones in Ukraine or Vojvodina. You spit in own face with that but hey...

2) Personal ID is not needed. According the law you do not need ID if you have a passport.

3) The citizenship discovery procedure (as it is called) is relatively simple, minimal papers are needed, forms are informal and is cheap. Wonder how come one can't go through it. With the same diligence you post these "gems" on B92 you could get rid of your inferiority complex and get that stupid piece of paper. Looks like a man can still have a PMS.

Joe,

What you wrote is pure insanity. No one need your personal ID if you have passport. But you are a fake with 99% chance - just please do not spread lies about the country.

I would like really to see anyone's response from any Hungarian consulate about this. It's just a blatant lie, straight in our face.
